To honor the music group Young Kingz, of which Mike Towers is a founding of, he switched the first letter from the i into an Y in 2017. Myke is a rap artist from underground who is from Puerto Rico who began his career in his early teens. Through his SoundCloud profile, he published his first original music compositions. The songs Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal (which the artist wrote) as well as En los Bloques, which he released in 2014 earned him fame. The freestyle he performed, La Nueva Droga, and his reworking of Drake's first track "0 to 100" also attracted attention in the world of urban music.
