Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a songwriter. Her most famous character is Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she's directed, produced and performed in her own film Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she was a part of Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle Benson was her artist younger sister. Benson, whose father is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson began appearing in other films, like The Killing Jar. Benson also appeared on TV series like Morganville The Series. When she was in front of the camera, she utilized her creative writing abilities in writing the Ghosts of Albion and direct projects like The 2010's Drones. Buffy claims that she's found and counted at least 1800 Slayers, 500 of whom collaborate with members of the Scooby Gang. Slayers are now Slayers after they have reached maturity.
