Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor best recognized for her role as House in Fox's the medical thriller House. When she turned 18, Lisa moved from Wayne to New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to traditional Jewish customs. She was very active in the clubs in New York City and made enough noise to get noticed in the press. While doing so she began to become aware of AIDS its devastating consequences. Her experiences and fame to write and compose a musical titled Positive Me which she was a part of. Awake on the Wild Side was her next job. Once Awake on the Wild Side was no longer being aired, she began to act in films and on television, initially in small parts. Gradually, her career as an actor increased.
